
first time, German Pfleiderer track systems will present its line of track
systems at a trade fair in the Far East. The Korea Railways & Logistics
Fair will also be held for the first time, in Busan, South Korea, from 28
May to 1 June. At its 30 m² stand, Pfleiderer track systems, a subsidiary
of Pfleiderer AG, of Neumarkt, Germany, will present specific versions of
its ballastless track system: products that have set new standards in
track systems for high-speed rail traffic.
The RHEDA 2000 ballastless track for high-speed rail traffic in Asia
Pfleiderer track systems intends to develop a ballastless track system forapplication in Korea. Pfleiderer will collaborate with the turnout producerBWG Gesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, of Butzbach, Germany, and the Koreancompany CHUN WON IND. CO., LTD., of Paju City, Korea, producerof Pantex lattice girders for roof support over excavated tunnelsections. South Korea is currently preparing to link up to the Trans-Chinese and Trans-Siberian rail lines, which would make the country anode for rail travel in Southeast Asia. Affiliated companies from Germany,France, and the United Kingdom are participating in preparationsfor the age of high-speed rail travel in Korea.
