RAIL.ONE supports youth football in its region

Neumarkt, Germany, 28 November 2006 – During the Junior Cup youth football championship sponsored by the local newspaper, Neumarkter Nachrichten, Managing Director of RAIL.ONE GmbH, Richard Ziegler, presented a cheque for EUR 2,000 to Jürgen Walter, the Chairman of the Youth Sponsorship Association (JFG) for the Neumarkt Municipal Area and Surroundings. The association JFG Neumarkt was founded in February of this year by the two football clubs TSV Wolfstein e.V. and FC Holzheim e.V., to promote the A- to D-Class Juniors in both teams.

 

Supporting the interests of the young generation is not only a field of emphasis for German football, but also represents a major heartfelt commitment at RAIL.ONE GmbH. “Football teaches young people important character traits such as team spirit, eagerness to perform, and courage – and we gladly support such endeavours,” emphasized Richard Ziegler. “With this sponsorship, we would like to highlight our commitment to the region, and our social responsibility. The engagement of sports clubs in youth work, especially for the team sport of football, is a good example for us all – and an essential contribution to the positive development of young people.”
